Would like to meet people interested in flexible working

I (Rosie) am interested in hearing from local peeps who are interested in flexible work.  It’s not the I have work up for grabs, but it’s more that I’m interested in informally meeting people to discuss challenges that they may have with work arrangements that are too rigid.  For a majority this applies to working parents, but am aware there are different types of people who want to work flexibly yet in a professional career and fairly paid environment.

Personally I’m interested because a) I’m a working mother and b) I like to work on my own projects c) still often want to work for/with other people on a part-time/freelance basis.  You may be interested for different reasons.  It would be great to find out more.

Not quite sure where this will lead.  As a starting point I have set up a Google Group.  Anyone who is interested in the concept is welcome to join, discuss ideas and perhaps meetup occasionally.  Alternatively, please feel free to drop me an email at rosie[at]schux.com.
